Sodium Silicate is produced by melting high purity sand with sodium carbonate (Sode ash) in high temperature furnaces. The resulting product is a water solubles silicate powder that is known as water glass or sodium silicate solution once it is dissolved in water.

We have 3 varieties of sodium silicate to offer, with varying molar ratios for different applications
1. Neutral grade - Molar ratio 1:3.2. This is widely used in construction industries for increasing the binding property and water repellancy.
2. Medium grade - Molar ratio 1:2.4-2.6. This grade is widely used in foundries, forging and steel industries for the specific application.
3. Higher alkaline grade - Molar ratio 1:2.0. This grade is used by soap, detergent and the cosmetic industry for good lather and cleaning properties.

SiliChem SR1409 - Hydrogen Peroxide - 32% (H2O2) is a very pale liquid which appears colourless in a dilute solution and is slightly more viscous than water. It is a weak acid. It is oxidizing in nature and has disinfecting properties as well. H2O2 is usually not stable in the presence of UV light and thus stabilizers are added for the same.
