It is a double action coating. It gives total leak proofing as well as heat protection. It is two parts system. The base coat is a water repellent coating and the two top layers are heat reflective coating.

The water proofing base coat completely seals the current leaks.
The top coat prevents the building from getting heated up. Hence prevents formation of further cracks due to summer heat.
This combination reduces aging of the building and keeps the building new and extends the life of the building.

MetArmour PC2400 - Heat Resistant Black Coating 400C is a high performance, heat resistant coating that imparts excellent heat resistance to the base metal upto 400C. It is a direct to metal coating, that can be applied on bare metal with minimal surface preparation. The coating has excellent adhesion properties to metal and provides protection from environmental and corrosive elements. It is suitable for use on domestic stoves, furnace chimneys, boiler outer surfaces, industrial ovens, kitchen exhausts and a wide variety of surfaces exposed to heat. Coatings done in indoor conditions have a coating life of upto 3 years and outdoor conditions over 1 year (depends on environmental factors, coating methods etc.)

The HR Black coating imparts a bright, semi-matte, impressive black color that also improves the aesthetics of the equipment/machines that are coated.

COVERAGE

Roughly 200 sq.ft. per litre per coat of prepared coating when applied on smooth, non-porous surfaces

 

SUGGESTED DILUTION

The coating can be diluted with upto 20% of thinner, for reducing viscosity for spray applications

Special stoving thinner can be provided on request

 

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the metal surface to be coated by removing rust, oil, grease and other foreign matter

Use our Para Fine Rust Remover for easy removal of rust

Wash and dry with water

Prepare the Heat Resistant Black Coating with required amount of thinner and mix uniformly

Apply on the surface using a brush, roller or airless spray

Allow the first coat to dry for 15 minutes

Apply a second coat on the surface in the same way

Allow the second coat to dry for atleast 6 hours

Ensure to apply the coating in shade, away from direct sunlight

 

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Flammable in nature. Keep away from sparks, heat sources.

Ensure usage is in a vell ventilated area.

Inhalation of high concentration of fumes can cause dizziness, nausea etc.

Use PPEs like gloves, apron, eye goggles and face shield while handling the chemical
